CARROT RICE:
Ingredients-
Cooked Rice-2
servings
Carrot-2 pieces
Onion-2 (chopped)
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves (chopped)
Mustard - 1/4
teaspoon
Jeera - 1/4
teaspoon
Oil - 3 teaspoon
Chilly powder -
1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder -
1/4 teaspoon
Salt
Method -
In a kadai put
oil, add mustard .. let it burst and then add jeera( cumin seeds), add onions
fry till golden brown and then add curry leaves, carrots.. turn the flame to
simmer, let the carrots get tender.. add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt
and saute for 2 mins. Finally add cooked rice to this and mix well. Add
coriander leaves and serve hot.
